Leavenworth is a beautiful 2.5 hour drive from SeaTac airport through the Cascade Mountains

Once you’ve arrived in Leavenworth, Homestead Lodge (774 Interior Rd) is a 10 minute drive from downtown. Google directions provide a good start to get to Mountain Home Rd, but can sometimes lead you astray as you get closer to the turn to Homestead Road. We will put up some signs at Homestead Rd, but here are some details:

Mountain Home Road turns to a one lane gravel as you head up the hill. There are frequent places to turn out for oncoming cars.

From the gravel start of Mountain Home Rd, continue for 1.3 miles until you reach Homestead Rd. There will be a red house on your left with a “Private Road” sign. Take a left on Homestead Rd and continue up and down the hill for 1.1 miles.

As you’re going on Homestead Rd, keep left at the horse pasture to head down hill again. Continue straight following Homestead Rd through the open gate. You’ll head up a steep hill once more and curve sharply to the right past our neighbor’s log cabin house. Keep going past our green shop up the hill and you’ll see the lodge ahead of you and the dome on the left.

Find a spot by the lodge to park (there will be plenty of parking).
